Late-model jet inventory stays tighter than last year

Large-cabin inventory on AirplaneHelicopter finished August below last year's count. Buyers keep concentrating on low-time, post-2018 airframes with fresh interiors and current Wi-Fi. Sellers who price against last quarter's comps, not last year's, are moving metal. Over-asks of 8% or more are sitting. If you are shopping a Gulfstream or Challenger, get the maintenance program status in writing before you travel for a pre-buy. That is where deals stall.
